Senior Java Engineer

We have an excellent opportunity for a candidate with the skills listed below and you will be a team player with good organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to learn quickly. Candidates must have an interest in Financial services, as the role involves being a part of a Formicary consulting team at client projects and in-house development for Formicary's financial integration product set.

Essential:

·  Software engineering degree or equivalent

·  4 plus years of commercial software development experience

·  Java 5.0, Java EE, EJB 3, JSP, Servlets, HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, JMS, SQL, OO design

Desirable:

·  Ext JS, DWR, Spring Framework, Sybase, Oracle, Postgres, Hibernate

·  One of: Weblogic, JBoss, WebSphere, Orion, Tomcat, Glassfish

·  Financial knowledge (bonds, equities)
